-
- The mailorder places don't necessarily list everything they have.
- Give 'em a call and ask.
-
- Prograph is certainly more "up to date" than Smalltalk/V Mac, but it
- also lacks some of the neat things that Smalltalk provides. If you're
- interested in Smalltalk rather than making Mac applications, then
- Smalltalk/V Mac is quite usable.
-
- Finally, here's a blurb from page 4 of the 11.16.92 MacWeek that
- almost slipped by me:
-
- Digitalk Inc. of Los Angeles said a future version of its
- Smalltalk/V Mac object-oriented development environment will
- add support for DAL, DAM and OCE, as well as System 7 features
- such as QuickDraw GX, AppleScript, Apple events and QuickTime.
- Digitalk said the new version of its $199.95 product will ship
- in the secod quarter of next year.
-
- So Digitalk is at least planning on further Smalltalk/V Mac
- development.
