  13. The idea of a Smalltalk standardization effort seems to be interesting. 
  14. It looks, however, that at least one ANSI X3 TC has been missing from your
  15. liaison proposals: ANSI X3H7 on Object Information Management is interested
  16. in and dealing with harmonization of different object models, and Smalltalk 
  17. object model is a very interesting one that is certainly worth consideration...

  19. The next meeting of X3H7 will be in January in San Diego. It is a relatively
  20. new TC, a successor of ANSI OODBTG that produced the Object Data Management
  21. Reference Model the first part of which deals with the object paradigm.
  22. These activities are not centered around databases, but are more general
  23. in nature.
