- The idea of a Smalltalk standardization effort seems to be interesting.
- It looks, however, that at least one ANSI X3 TC has been missing from your
- liaison proposals: ANSI X3H7 on Object Information Management is interested
- in and dealing with harmonization of different object models, and Smalltalk
- object model is a very interesting one that is certainly worth consideration...

- The next meeting of X3H7 will be in January in San Diego. It is a relatively
- new TC, a successor of ANSI OODBTG that produced the Object Data Management
- Reference Model the first part of which deals with the object paradigm.
- These activities are not centered around databases, but are more general
- in nature.
