  14. Hello,
  15.   I am in great need of understanding the scoping and extent of the
  16. languages (pascal, lisp, and fortran).  If anyone can email me with
  17. explanation of how this feature is handled and what goes on to make it
  18. work, it would mean a lot to me since I am supposed to right a paper on
  19. it for my class (2nd yr).  Please not that I am not just interested in
  20. the syntax but additional explanation.
  21.   I hope you will help me out, as best you can as I am desparate.
