- The gopher server needs to provide date + time info, to do what you want.
- Most do not. Mine and a few others do (just open the IUBio gopher).

- There is a simple patch for current Unix gopher servers that will
- put date and time information on title lines, and will work properly
- with all current gopher clients. People can find it via gopher or ftp
- to ftp.bio.indiana.edu, as IUBIo Software+Data/util/gopher/date+size.patch.
- (It is also cleverly tucked in the iubio-gopher-v1.patch there that
- server maintainers may need to use iubio-wais modifications).
