  28. I sure hope that DVI (the TeX device independent file format) gets on
  29. the registered list.  There are a lot of documents out there in TeX and
  30. there are pretty good dvi previewers for X, Mac and PC.  Also the
  31. .dvi format doesn't have the security problems of Postscript.  I have
  32. tried this format experimentally under gopher1.03 with xgopher 
  33. (+ unauthorized patch) and with the Don Gilbert's Mac client.  It works
  34. fine.
