- I sure hope that DVI (the TeX device independent file format) gets on
- the registered list. There are a lot of documents out there in TeX and
- there are pretty good dvi previewers for X, Mac and PC. Also the
- .dvi format doesn't have the security problems of Postscript. I have
- tried this format experimentally under gopher1.03 with xgopher
- (+ unauthorized patch) and with the Don Gilbert's Mac client. It works
- fine.
