- I am running Unix gopher 1.03 under Ultrix and have a problem. The same
- problem appears with gopher 1.02. The problem appears if gopher is started
- by inetd or not. When a client connects and gopherd decides to rebuild
- the .cache, there is a delay of about 30 seconds. This delay happens
- every time if I disable the cache. The delay happens if I remove all
- items from the root menu. It still takes about 30 seconds to get the
- nothing found message. Debug output does not indicate any errors.
-
- Anyone have any ideas what is going on?
