  13. In agreement with Bill Silvert, Veronica is a step forward, but of course will 
  14. need refinement. My example, a search on ERIC (obviously interested in access to
  15. the ERIC database) one gets a large number of hits which I believe are in fact
  16. hits on 'pointers' to the same WAIS search engine (site?). How this can be 
  17. filtered I can't propose, but it seriously limits the present utility of 
  18. Veronica. Filtering of duplicate pointers to 'other gophers' should be 
  19. relatively easy to do.
