  15. I am trying to access the weather server with the following in my
  16. .gopherrc:

  18. Type=1
  19. Name=interactive weather service (from u of michigan)
  20. Path=
  21. Host=downwind.sprl.umich.edu
  22. Port=3000

  25. The gopher client hangs, even though telnet to the same host and port
  26. works immediately:

  28. I would like to use gopher instead of regular telnet because I am
  29. hoping that gopher will retrieve the weather forecast as a document
  30. similar to what the gopher interface to the geographic server on
  31. martini does.

  33. Does anyone have something like this working for the weather server?
