  15. possibility of supporting EPSI files with:-

  25. preview bitmaps in them. This would have 3 advantages:-
  26.  
  27. 1) fast. The Preview could be converted to an X bitmap (say) which could be
  28.    rendered to the screen rapidly. Most fullblown Postscript previewing takes 
  29.    a while to get going. The print option could print out the Postscript
  30.    file to a local Postscript printer if one exists.
  31.  
  32. 2) safe - no trojan horses in a bitmap
  33.  
  34. 3) don't need a Postscript interpreter at the client end
