  14.     I'm relaying this request from a user who doesn't have Internet
  15. access yet.  The question is:  does anyone have an AVS (or X-based) module
  16. or tool that allows one to outline and area in an AVS or X image?  The
  17. outlining should be done using the mouse with the result that the outlined
  18. region is all that is left after the procedure (everthing else set to a default
  19. value or color).  This is a common labor-intensive technique in medical
  20. visualization but doesn't seem to have been incorporated into common AVS use.
  21. Given the probable general interest in this to others, please post a response 
  22. to this inquiry on this bulletin board.
