  20. This sounds like the Ericcson Mobidem and the Mobitex packet radio
  21. network.  Motorola also has a similar but incompatible network called Ardis.
  22. Neither of them are cellular telephone systems, they are radio packet
  23. radio systems.  Cellular telephone networks can also be used for the
  24. transmission of data.

  29. Although the HP IR could be used for a network connection, the built-in
  30. software only only runs it at 2400bps and there is no HP IR <-->
  31. ethernet/whatever bridge/router.  The port is mostly used for
  32. transfering data to another HP palmtop, calculator, or IR printer.
  33. Some people have written TCP/IP SLIP software for the HP.  The Fujitsu
  34. Poqet PC has only a conventional option serial port.
