  13. I was a brief-lover until I stumbled across a shareware editor written
  14. by a programmer who wanted an editor that did everything he wanted. He
  15. wrote it, called it Boxer, and has updated and upgraded it continually
  16. with great features. It has links to most popular compilers (and you can
  17. add your own), is has the "column cut and paste" like brief does,
  18. it also has 50 editable clipboards, so when you cut or copy something,
  19. you can save it on one of the clipboards (buffer in a window) for use
  20. later, it has excellent search and replace with optional grep, it has
  21. sorting of columns, upper-case, lower-case of marked blocks, alpha,
  22. _complete_ online help with user-definable help pages that you can add
  23. for your own functions, keystroke record and playback macros, macro
  24. editor, completely definable keyboard so you can emulate another editor
  25. should you desire, and it comes with loadable keymaps for Brief, Emacs,
  26. Wordstar, and other emulations, and much more.
