  13. Wouldn't it be possible to include the version number within the tar'ed
  14. filename?  Always calling the distribution joe.tar.Z is going to result in
  15. different versions appearing on different servers under the same name.

  17. I'm only going on about this as I think that joe is one of the best editors
  18. I've come across and it would be a pity if people were put off by buggy
  19. versions hanging around.
