- No. For those who do scientific calculations, block manipulation is very
- helpful in constructing the input, output files. Sometimes I need to
- analyze something and I need these data from several places in a file.
- The word processors don't help because they don't allow you to have 150
- colunms. As for the spread sheet, I can do much better than that. For
- me, I don't think it's very useful, unless you are business minded
- (no flame please).

- BTW, vi can manage blocks fairly easily.
