  11. I am in search of any information regarding asynchronous modems attached
  12. to the console port of cisco Systems AGS+ routers.  Our campus has 5
  13. AGS+ routers and we want to attach a modem to each one.  We have tried
  14. attaching Ventel 9600 Plus modems (ROM revision 6.xx) but we have not
  15. been successful in getting them to work.  As a test case, we had an
  16. older version of the same model modem (ROM revision 4.43) and it works
  17. just fine.  I have been trying to get these modems to work for over 3
  18. weeks now and would like to know if anyone else has gotten it to work
  19. with the newer Ventel 9600 Plus modems.  If anyone has gotten it to work
  20. with other modems, please mail me the vendor's name and any significant
  21. information.
