- I'd like to know the exact optical characteristics of cisco FDDI gear,
- specifically:
- transmit launch power
- saturation point of receiver
- I'd like this information for the multi-mode and single-mode case. We have
- some rather short runs of single-mode fiber which we might have to attenuate
- depending on the characteristics listed above.
-
- Also, it seems that the single-mode applique has a pair of FC connectors. Is
- this correct?
-
-
- I sent a similar note to cisco directly, but I figured a second opinion would
- be nice, and a response from someone with real experience would be reassuring.
