  14. The AUX port on routers does not support and modem control, so we
  15. don't know when the line has been hung up.  This is clearly documented
  16. in the section that describes the aux port, but we forgot to remove the
  17. comment about slip getting turned off when the modem hangs up from the
  18. section on SLIP.

  20. You might be able to use a session-timeout on the aux port to get it
  21. to revert to normal behavior after a few minutes of SLIP inactivity.
