  13. There seems to be a great deal of diversity regarding the definition of a
  14. server.  The term "Client Server Computing" has definitely been bastardized
  15. by the fashion rags of the industry.  Certainly the definition of a server
  16. must be sensitive to the give context, but there must be some common ground
  17. that encompasses the essence of a server.  So lets get to it!  What the
  18. hell is a server?  What type of behavior is common to all types of servers?
  19.  What are the different types of servers (i.e. connection, connectionless,
  20. statefull, stateless, database, compute, etc.)?
