- Hi,
- I've been meaning to play with slip but have not
- yet had the chance. We are doing some planning and
- looking at alternatives. So if you have any insight
- into slip I would appreciate your input.
-
- I know that I can connect two SCO machines together
- using slip. What I'm not sure about is in the
- configuration below:
-
- ----- ------- ------
- | SCO | slip | SCO | slip | SCO |
- | A |<------->| B |<----->| C |
- |_____| |_______| |______|
-
- 1) can I get from machine A to machine C as if
- they were connected on ethernet? (ie I would like
- to rlogin machineC from machineA)
-
-
- Another possibility is the diagram below.
-
- Ethernet

-
- 1) Can I get to machine F from machine A?
-
- Any insite would be appreciated.
-
- Thanx in advance.
