  14. Hi,
  15. I've been meaning to play with slip but have not
  16. yet had the chance. We are doing some planning and
  17. looking at alternatives. So if you have any insight
  18. into slip I would appreciate your input.
  19.
  20. I know that I can connect two SCO machines together
  21. using slip. What I'm not sure about is in the
  22. configuration below:
  23.
  24.     -----           -------         ------
  25.    | SCO |  slip   |  SCO  |  slip |  SCO |
  26.    |  A  |<------->|   B   |<----->|   C  |
  27.    |_____|         |_______|       |______|
  28.
  29. 1) can I get from machine A to machine C as if
  30.    they were connected on ethernet? (ie I would like
  31.    to rlogin machineC from machineA)
  32.
  33.
  34. Another possibility is the diagram below.
  35.
  36.                  Ethernet

  58.
  59. 1) Can I get to machine F from machine A?
  60.
  61. Any insite would be appreciated.
  62.
  63.     Thanx in advance.
