  13. I am writing a port monitor replacing ttymon. It has further the capability
  14. to send and receive fax messages. The project has now reached a point, where
  15. it does make sense to have some testing done outside my machine. In its
  16. final stage, the port monitor will be released as freeware to the UNIX
  17. community.
  18. If you are interrested to do some testing on your equippment, let it me
  19. know. But keep the following points in mind:

  21. - It is a pure Sytem V R 4.0 port monitor. No chance to let it run on
  22.   anything else.
  23. - It is tested with a ZyXEL E1496-E ROM 5.01M. Every other modem can
  24.   cause problems, and i will be only of little help, because i have only
  25.   access to the above ZyXEL.
  26. - You will need some other packages (ghostscript, xv, TIFF, ..) on your
  27.   machine to take full advantage of all features.
