  15. In Windows 4GL, dialog boxes look exactly the same as windows.  This
  16. creates problems for users since they can iconify dialog boxes (i.e, 
  17. take the window and shrink it to an icon).  The problem develops when
  18. the user wants to continue in the application with an iconfied dialog.
  19. The system responds with a wait cursor (watch), leaving the user wondering
  20. what happened.  On a system restart, all windows (including dialog boxes)
  21. are closed so the user gets no feedback and is free to make the same error
  22. again.

  24. Besides the obvious fix to make the dialogs interactive, if we want to 
  25. still use application modal dialogs (i.e. nothing else works in the
  26. application until the dialog is answered), is there a way to avoid having
  27. dialog boxes come up with iconify window buttons?
