  17. One of the interesting notes from my days with FidoNet was how this
  18. standard was not generally recognized there.  In a forum on one of
  19. the Fido <> uucp gates, the subject was traffic, and one gatemeister
  20. proceeded to assess the volume of mail running through his system,
  21. detailing while he was at it the contents!  When I noted that as
  22. remarkable, he and a buddy were quick to come back with the standard
  23. horror stories about equipment confiscated during hacker/kiddieporn
  24. busts.

  28. I'm not in Fido anymore, but I think there should be concern for 
  29. those who must use it.  Of course, the major privacy factor with
  30. that network is that mail is generally lost anyway...
