- One of the interesting notes from my days with FidoNet was how this
- standard was not generally recognized there. In a forum on one of
- the Fido <> uucp gates, the subject was traffic, and one gatemeister
- proceeded to assess the volume of mail running through his system,
- detailing while he was at it the contents! When I noted that as
- remarkable, he and a buddy were quick to come back with the standard
- horror stories about equipment confiscated during hacker/kiddieporn
- busts.

- I'm not in Fido anymore, but I think there should be concern for
- those who must use it. Of course, the major privacy factor with
- that network is that mail is generally lost anyway...
