- I know, but how much do I want to keep? I dont want things flying
- through here like alt.activism and can.politics with a keep of 100.
- Thats barely a day in both groups. I want to see how often things pop up
- in general perusals of output from UUXQT to see that can.politics comes
- up alot.
-
- Another way, which is easier actually, is just to compare how high the
- highest message number in the group is from the stats output. Since I've
- only recently been getting news, I can do this. can.politics is
- something around 1600 and alt.slack is around 40, for about three or
- four weeks. Obviously I set can.politics to about 400 and alt.slack to
- about 50 or 75.

- Cool hack. I'll check it. Stats also outputs this kind of thing, but
- thats only most recent, not most often.

-
- No, I get hardly any. They just appear, alone, looking around for a
- friendly .X file that can hang off but the newsgroup is bare.
- Strangeness. Hasnt happened in a little while tho, so I think it fixed
- itself. ("Aye, laddie, these things dont just up and fix themselves."
- "Aye they dont fix themselves!" -- "But, uh, do you have a 27-B-stroke-6?")
