  18. I would like to use the Exabyte jukebox with random access on
  19. Vaxstation 4000 using VMS and Decstation 5000/200 using Ultrix.
  20. In the future I'll use Alpha workstations.

  22. I would like to know if anybody is using this device and to know 
  23. how it works.

  25. I understodd that there is a device called Exb10 that cost
  26. about 6000$ for sequential access to which you can add
  27. an exabyte 8200 or 8500  drive.

  29. If you want random access you spend other 1000$ to get an Exb10i
  30.  
  31. But then you must pay 3000$ for another board for Ultrix or
  32. 6000$ for a software on VMS to use it. How can it be?

  34. I'm mainly interested in a solution for VMS, but may be I'll forced to
  35. use a U**x workstation to do the job.
