  14. It looks like we finally have a book available in the academic discipline of
  15. neural networks. "Introduction to Artificial Neural Systems", by J. M. Zurada,
  16. published recently (1992) by West, explains in detail how learning machines
  17. called neural networks work. Comprehensive, fine, unified, lucid exposition and
  18. numerous examples have provided me with a very good understanding and
  19. appreciation for artificial neural systems. I therefore strongly recommend this
  20. book to serious students and neural network modelers. Other strengths of this
  21. book include great figures, complete algorithms (just to be implemented), and a
  22. diskette with software (source code & program compiled for PC),
  23.
