  28. You may want to also have your friends and family boycott such
  29. orginazations, such as Focus on The Family,  send their books back to them
  30. stating that you don't support organzations that don't support
  31. 'non-traditional' family units.  I believe they were behind this
  32. amendmend, if not please keep in mind the Religious Right does have it's
  33. own political agenda, which scares the willies out of me.

  35. Also another thought, if for some reason Amendment 2 does not get thrown
  36. out by the courts, I think that the thrust of the drive to get it voted
  37. out, should be aimed at more of a *broader* rights issue, not just a gay
  38. rights issue.

  40. Most of the people in my office saw Amendment 2, not as a gay rights
  41. issue, (though I agree that a person should not be denied housing or lose
  42. their job due to their sexual prefrence) but as a pandora's box.  Have you
  43. ever thought about what the next 'Amendment 2' could be?  No mixed Race
  44. marriages, Thou shalt only go to church on the 'right' day ( or just go to
  45. church ).  Or, well, just do some imanging of your own...
