  20. Lemon laws only apply to new cars, not used, and are barely worth the
  21. paper they're printed on.

  23. When purchasing a used car it is always prudent to get *in writing* any
  24. and all warranties that come with the car, if any.  If the car has no
  25. warranty, i.e. it is sold as is, then the seller of the car is not
  26. obligated to make any repairs to it (and that's why when you sell a car
  27. you need to put "Vehicle is sold as is" on the bill of sale).
