- Lemon laws only apply to new cars, not used, and are barely worth the
- paper they're printed on.

- When purchasing a used car it is always prudent to get *in writing* any
- and all warranties that come with the car, if any. If the car has no
- warranty, i.e. it is sold as is, then the seller of the car is not
- obligated to make any repairs to it (and that's why when you sell a car
- you need to put "Vehicle is sold as is" on the bill of sale).
