  10. Following up an advertisement, a friend and I had Sunday brunch at
  11. Arco de Cuchilleros in Lakeview.  The place seems to be a tapas bar
  12. during the week, and sets up a buffet for Sunday.  The proprietor gave us
  13. a tour of the table: one pass through for cold tapas, another pass through
  14. for hot tapas, then they'd bring us paella from the kitchen.

  16. We took 3 passes through the tapas table, not 2, and would have gone
  17. back for more if we'd thought we could walk with that much food in us.
  18. Cold tapas included delicious marinated vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes,
  19. onion, pimientos, peppers...), potato salad, tuna sliced thin and
  20. marinated, a meat pate, chickpea salad, marinated seafood and vegetables.
  21. The hot tapas were good, but didn't leave as strong an impression on me.

  23. All this plus garlic soup (very mild to my taste) for $11.95 + tax and tip.
  24. We enjoyed ourselves, but were a little disturbed that we were the only
  25. customers at 1:30 on Sunday afternoon.  Give it a try!
