- Talk about idealism! Alan.... get a hold of yourself. These guys are no better
- than the Tories that you have been disappointed in. Your leader has already
- begun to purge elements in the party that do not suit him, and he is weeding
- out "bad" members... like that poor bigot in Ontario, just to look good on
- TV. This man is the most ambitious political newcomer since Brian Mulroney
- plotted his takeover of the PC party years ago.
-
- Yes it takes guts to oppose powerful elites. It also takes guts to realize
- that Preston Manning and the Reform party is trying to feed Canadians with
- a line of crap. Which means, we should stop referring to the Big 3 evil
- parties and start referring to the Big 4.

- The Party... the Party.... that is the problem with this organization. They
- operate just like the others, and demand the same loyalty. When I hear the
- words "Party" I immediately think of Stalin, Hitler and all those other guys
- pushing their platform and claiming the people are on their side. Do you know
- what. It is all pollitical b*s*.
-
- Like I said, this party is no different from socialist parties from the 30's.
- They pushed populism, but as time wore on they became just like all the rest.
- Look at the NDP and tell me that is the same party JS Woodsworth founded.
- Maybe it is a bit anarchistic of me, but the only honest political party in
- this country is the Bloc Quebecois. If Canada breaks up this party will have
- achieved its goals and will no longer be needed.
-
- I look forward to the day when all of our politicians will no longer be a
- necessity. They get in the way of personal and economic freedom. They take
- your money. And then they tell you it is for the good of society. And anyone
- who proposes a REAL radical realignment is called an enemy of the state, the
- people and of Canada itself.
-
- That is why Uncle Preston will be just like the rest. When the big PM said
- that he was going to axe indexed pensions, look what they did to him. When
- Uncle Preston puts his axe to work, the people will tell him to back off, and
- Uncle Preston, being the populist scumbag that he is, will do just that.
-
- The so-called Reform party has no other prinicipals than gaining power. They
- tell disillusioned Canadians that they are the party that the PC's should have
- been. Just like the other three, they too do not have a fundamental
- understanding of Quebec or choose to ignore the facts. They appeal to anti-
- Quebec racism and the worst form of pan-Canadian nationalism, Trudeau style
- centalism (look how Uncle Preston quoted PET in the referendum on so-called
- blackmail), and the worst religious and cultural prejudices in all of us
- (witness the deification of the RCMP uniform by Reform). Deep down they want
- what the other parties want but have failed to achieve with bilingualism...
- the restoration of the English language as the domininant economic and cultural
- language of Quebec and the dominance of the Quebec anglophone community.
-
- When Preston denounces so-called two-founding nation policies, what he is
- really saying is that the French language means nothing, either in Ottawa,
- or Quebec or the rest of Caada. That ultimately he wants what the PC party used
- to want: a "bilingual" English-dominated Quebec in an official English only
- Canada. French commmunities outside Quebec are already doomed to extinction.
- When Preston goes to work... watch as Preston and the Reform party try to do
- the same thing to Quebecers. 30 years of reform in Quebec flushed down the
- toilet by the racist Reform party.
-
- This country, already bad, will be worse of with Preston riding the saddle.
