  23. If technology can improve the quality of life to allow a user-pays
  24. shift, I'm all right with that ... but if you ever interview at IBM
  25. Research or Bell Labs and sit around a toll booth like I have, then
  26. you'll know what I'm talking about.  I don't know how bad the traffic
  27. tie-ups across the Lions Gate Bridge is, I know that one of Canada's
  28. few toll booths are located there (i.e., that's how few toll booths
  29. we have up north -- I have to talk on a federal scale).

  31. BUT until those sticker/scanner systems are common existence, I'll
  32. only support tolls with that as a rider. (-;

  34. I'm still waiting for those moving beltway networks that'll take me
  35. around standing up at 10 kmph ...
