  27. Perhaps the reason that this regionalism/ethnicism is new to you is because
  28. you've lived in relative ignorance of it, perhaps in the comfortable
  29. confines of Toronto.  However, as Ross and I have been saying, it is far
  30. from new, but perhaps is being finally perceived by those who were under
  31. the false sense of security that the Trudeau years gave to southern
  32. Ontariopudlians.  Clark and Mulroney are hardly the engineers of this
  33. malaise.

  35. Given that this "national attidude" has been developing for generations,
  36. what is perhaps needed is a fix to the federal institutions.
