- Perhaps the reason that this regionalism/ethnicism is new to you is because
- you've lived in relative ignorance of it, perhaps in the comfortable
- confines of Toronto. However, as Ross and I have been saying, it is far
- from new, but perhaps is being finally perceived by those who were under
- the false sense of security that the Trudeau years gave to southern
- Ontariopudlians. Clark and Mulroney are hardly the engineers of this
- malaise.
