  16. I would like to compute some information statistics based on a loess
  17. analysis in Splus.  I would like to find the equivalent of the X'X
  18. matrix for the model and would like to compute skewness and kurtosis
  19. for the residuals.  Splus help file does not identify any of these
  20. items.  I'd appreciate help.
