- Ralph D'Agostino, chair of the stats department at Boston University,
- has written a book on testing distributions (no, I don't know the reference
- off-hand, and it's an expensive book). At a short course I attended, he
- stated quite emphatically that the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was not good
- for the purpose of testing for normality. Not having my notes handy,
- however,
- I can't provide his recommendation for alternative tests.
