  12. Frank Dane mentioned the use of the Chi-squared test to compare
  13. a distribution against the normal. My impression is the Kolmogorov-
  14. Smirnov test (I spell that in utter trepidation!) is a better
  15. test, though leafing through the references I have I cannot
  16. support the contention. Has anyone a piece of data to prop
  17. up my opinion (or to overturn it, dammit - go on, hit me, I
  18. can take it).
