- One circumstance in which it may be worth using EPS as a transfer
- format to other software, even though you can't preview the graphics
- on the screen, is were you wish to precisely control color or shading.
- Examples would be with a shaded map, or a gradient fill background.
- SAS allows pretty good control over color when you are writing to a
- PostScript device, and the EPS file carries that through to your final
- page. The new 600 dpi (and higher) laser printers should allow for
- pretty fine shading distinctions.
