  23. On the contrary, Tracy, I must apologize if I came on too strong against
  24. the kind of gossip that can go on in small groups of people.  I didn't
  25. mean to direct it at you, particularly.  I was just jumping up on the
  26. soapbox.  I really hate gossip.  There is someone here that used to try
  27. to bring me into alot of gossip.  It took me a while to figure out that
  28. all of those gossipy perceptions were actually her own, and hers alone.
  29. If anyone out there has a sense for interpersonal relationships and
  30. communication, you can probably guess how difficult it is to stop gossip
  31. once it gets started.  And yes, I can probably operationally define gossip.
