  23. This morning, I saw a half dozen inbound messages bounce with "illegal
  24. host/domain name" errors.  All were addressed to user%rocvm@mrp.mayo.edu for
  25. delivery to OfficeVision through PMDF-MR and MRP.  These were legal addresses;
  26. in fact, subsequent attempts to send to the same addresses succeeded.  Section
  27. 15.3.7 says that such errors can occur, even with legal addresses, if the
  28. network transport is unable to accept the message.  The VAX's pagefile space
  29. was critically low during this time.  Since then, I've added another pagefile
  30. and rebooted.  Do you think the pagefile problem explains these failed
  31. deliveries?  Thank you.
