  14. We just noticed that our 5.0.2 "EXP SL" help screens still contain references
  15. to old-style LCSH notation (i.e., with x, xx, sa), despite the fact that LSCH
  16. has incorporated the new ANSI thesaurus structure since the 11th edition
  17. (1988).  You may want to double check that you've updated your screens, and
  18. perhaps NOTIS will consider this a request for an update in the next release
  19. if it isn't there already (or perhaps this would have to go on the enhancement
  20. ballot?).

  22. Below is what we've updated to, including a fuller second screen about
  23. subdivisions.  Because we use the "unified s" subject search, we've deleted
  24. the "exp sl" screens entirely and moved the information to the "exp s"
  25. screens.
