  12. Dear Friends, I am testing the LB510JC routine that is supposed to allow
  13. overlaying from the patron interface record.  It seems we cannot prevent
  14. overlaying of online updated patrons as is supposed to be controlled by
  15. the LB530Txx INSD2 setting.  We have ours set to 3 days and overlaying
  16. is allowed by LB530BAL using LB530TA1 (our locally modified LB530Txx) even
  17. when I run the job minutes after updating records online.  Anybody care
  18. to offer a guess as to what could be going wrong here?
  19. Does the INSD2 switch actually work?  It is supposed to control only those
  20. records that were originated online, according to the TECH Ref Manual on
  21. page 285.  But I have been told that ALL patron records are candidates and
  22. that the book is wrong on that point.
