  12.         Here at the University of California, Santa Barbara, we have
  13. installed 3180's in the stacks.  They are not secured and the only
  14. problems we had was in the beginning people hitting the keys, such
  15. as play and record, and after becoming totally confused walking away
  16. leaving the garble for someone else.  We "froze" those keys and
  17. everything seems to be working fine.
  18.         I guess I'd better back up.  When I say "secured" I mean the
  19. terminals were not locked or bolted down to the furniture.  The
  20. terminals are  "locked" into the patron access mode.
