- I'm still complaining about the user-unfriendliness of NB4 - but I
- have a real problem with keyboard reassignments.
-
- One can't go directly to the nb.kbd file anymore in order to revise
- it (at least when I tried it didn't work). One must access it (as with
- too, too many things) through those darn menus. Ok, F1 - Set - Keyboard.
- Then I select "Keyboard reassignment." Great; I have the proper
- screen. The problem is once I begin to do anything, the screen
- flickers, and the characters become a mass of illegible gobbledy-gook.
- Sounds like a bug, yes? Does anyone else have this problem?
-
- And while I'm at it: I thought the BEST thing about NB3 was the
- "info" command, where you could get a help screen for nearly everything.
- I don't see that there is such a thing on NB4 - making it extremely
- cumbersome to use. Am I incorrect? Is there an "info" command on
- NB4 after all, buried under several of those darn menus?
-
- Thanks for your patience.
