- Kristallnacht, the Night of the Broken Glass, when the Nazis
- sponsored a national pogrom, not the Night of the Long Knives, when
- the SA was purged.
- (2) I think that you exaggerate how the U-S media are painting
- the German troubles. My impression (from National Public Radio,
- the NY Times, the Greenville {S.C.} News, and the Anderson {S.C.}
- Independent) is that the disturbances are not being presented
- as catastrophic.
