  17. From what I have been hearing recently, the rumor of CLSG becoming something
  18. we have to pay for is true.  I was hoping this wasn't true, but discussion
  19. at the EDUCOM conference seemed to indicate that although nothing was yet
  20. completed, it was going to happen.  Needless to say, a lot of us aren't all
  21. that pleased.  No free ride speeches please, I understand your situation.

  23. I have also been told to expect a "fair" solution and that small universities
  24. are not going to get run into the ground.  It should be interesting to see
  25. where the chips really fall.  You've been good to us in the past, so for now
  26. I'll trust the statement.

  28. This change is leaving me with a major problem.  Like everyone else, my budget
  29. is not growing and fat is hard to come by.  I am expected to prepare a budget
  30. for my department within the next couple of weeks and *need* to know what you
  31. are doing or I may end up without this service.

  33. While I at this, is there any chance of an educational hardware maintenance
  34. policy?
