- Hi all.
-
- I am dealing with a database over .25 Gigabytes in size. I have a SCSI 1.2
- Gig disk, so holding the data is not a problem. I have crunched this data
- down to its current size, and can't shrink it any further on the disk. I
- don't have money for a larger disk drive.
-
- With these limitations in mind, how can I index the data every which way
- from Sunday? I need to index on 6 different fields in the database, but be
- able to have one index active WITHIN another index. In other words, I need to
- be able to access every COMBINATION of these fields possible.
-
- How can I use 6 indexes to do what I want. Bear in mind that the six
- indexes will pretty much fill up my available disk space. I MAY have room for
- one more index file. Does anyone have any SMART indexing utilities/libraries,
- or just some plain ole smart ideas?
