  12. In response to Albert Lunde's query about converting to plain text from
  13. word processors, I'd like to mention again the University of Oregon's
  14. gopher system, which has half a dozen  such procedures outlined quite
  15. well and made available right in their cwis menu.  They cribbed these
  16. in turn from another institution whose name escapes me right now, but
  17. they go a long way toward answering this question for Word and
  18. WordPerfect.
