- Thank you Michel Ridgeway for your input. Please do see that someone gets
- the responsibility to answer questions. Regarding your comments about
- everyone not having access to the internet: that's true, but if a question
- is asked on the internet, why can't it be answered the same way. Yes others
- may benefit from the response, but informing some (or many) is better than
- nobody. I would like to point out that the same situation applies to the
- Library of Congress, but they have a representative who gives LC responses
- when it's appropriate. Likewise OCLC.
- So far, I've seen problems with some aspects of CIRC, and relatively
- few problems with cataloging. No comments (that I recall) about check-in or
- other serials issues. But lots and lots of comments about communication.
- This obviously needs some work.
