  12. ATTENTION FINAL YEAR B.Sc. STUDENTS!!!

  14. I have a position available in my lab (funded!!) for a M.Sc. student. I am
  15. seeking a student interested in Developmental Biology with a B.Sc. degree
  16. obtained in North America, Australia, New Zealand or Western Europe. 
  17.  
  18. The model system I am using is the chick embryo and I am focusing on
  19. facial development. I have been combining both the traditional,
  20. experimental embryo manipulation approach and the molecular approach to
  21. elucidate the controls of facial patterning. The training I can offer in
  22. my laboratory will prepare you for many acadmeic job opportunities. The
  23. molecular biology of Development is fast becoming a key area of interest
  24. being expanded in University departments around the world (see the
  25. job advertizements in Nature and Cell). My laboratory currently
  26. enjoys funding from the Medical Research Council of Canada and the
  27. National Institute of Dental Research in the U.S.A. and can offer a
  28. student many interesting projects.

  30. The position is available from January 1993 and the closing date for
  31. applications is December 14th. I am also open to taking a Ph.D.
  32. student if you have already taken a Master's degree.
