  16. An article in Nature 6-9 months ago described a fungus that was claimed to be 
  17. the world's largest living organism, by weight. It was located somewhere in the 
  18. central U.S.A. and, naturally, was spread over an enormous area. I am sorry, I 
  19. do not have the exact reference.
