- I am passing along this recent message from my colleague Kenton which
- was posted to BIOFORUM/bionet.general. Kenton posts monthly messages
- which can be used by the news software to update your local
- distribution if new BIOSCI/bionet groups are created. Some sites may
- not be using this information properly and thus might not see new
- groups. If you can't find newsgroups locally that you see listed in
- our monthly info sheet posting, please pass this along to your systems
- administrator.
-
- Sincerely,
-
- Dave Kristofferson
- BIOSCI/bionet Manager

- Messages are sent out every month to the 'control' and 'news.admin.misc'
- groups (to sites that take distribution 'bionet') to verify that they are
- taking all of the bionet newsgroups. If you have any further questions
- about this, please mail me directly, or discuss this issue with your
- local systems administration staff (you may also pass my address along to
- your local systems staff, and I can consult with them on your problem).
