  23. I suspect I'm already going to have to defend my right to have a
  24. say at this "forum" as I'm not a member of the VK2 WIA division,
  25. nor even a VK2 amateur, however *anything* the VK2s do regarding
  26. networking is going to have an impact on us VK1s.  I, for one, am
  27. not going to sit idly by and let the likes of Barry White and
  28. AAPRA dictate how we're going to work.

  35. Crap.  There is more of a network floating around NSW than there
  36. has been for MANY years.  The netrom and wormhole links are
  37. working and data is being moved.  Sure it's not a wonderful
  38. network and we're going to have to spend a lot of time and money
  39. to make it halfway decent but it's a base we can build on.  At
  40. least we haven't locked ourselves into a deadend like ROSE or
  41. TEXNET.  BTW I do agree netrom is a deadend, however we can use
  42. it as a stepping stone to TCP/IP.
